dont know how: make 3x3 grid for 9 photos, fill page, equal sizes

i simply want to make a full page layout for 9 photos so that i can lay them
out 3x3 all of equal size and i cannot figure it out!  help, having a
difficult time with it.

Make a 3x3 table and set the column width and row height to 1/3 of the page
width and height.

i'm not sure how to do 1/3 page height/width... i think i need step by step
instructions.... also, i would hope that i could then put photos in place,
and have no grid lines show. thanks

If the table you insert has borders by default, remove them with Ctrl+Alt+U
or by selecting the table and choosing None in the Borders and Shading
dialog or No Bordero on the Borders palette flyout.

Select the table and, on the Row tab of Table Properties, check the box for
"Specify height," then choose Exactly and type in the appropriate
measurement.

Do the same for preferred column width on the Columns tab. You'll need to
disable auto resizing by choosing Fixed Column Width on the Table | AutoFit
menu or clearing the "Automatically resize to fit contents" check box in
Table Properties | Table | Options.
