I have a word document that the table of contents has links to the page of
the document.  Ex: table of contents says program and you clink ctl and it
takes you to page 5 which reads programs.   How do i remove these links or
whatever?  I tried right clicking like you do for a hyperlink and it does not
have remove hyperlink.  I am really frustrted trying to remove this feature.
i did not create the document to begin with.

Press Alt+F9 to display the TOC field code and remove the \h switch. Then
Alt+F9 to toggle back and F9 to update the field. Note that the page numbers
will continue to be hyperlinked; there is no way around this.

Thank you.  It helped some. I still ended up changing the style but it seems
to have worked.
