Hi.

I would like to separate parts of a document in 5 pieces. They should be
easily accessible. Excel features the sheets, which appear on the bottom
left side of the Excel window (Sheet1, Sheet2, Sheet3).

Has Word the possibility to divide the document in "sheets" (of course,
in this case, it would only be blocks of text unlike Excel where sheets
would appear when clicked upon)?

TIA

Sure. Experiment with the Document Map feature. It provides an easy way to
navigate to your blocks of text as long as one of the paragraphs in the
block is formatted with an appropriate style.

If you're using Word 2003, there's also the Thumbnail view. It provides
thumbnails along the left side of the screen to represent each page in the
document so a user could use them to quickly navigate.
