For as long as I have used Microsoft Word  there is one
problem that constantly annoys me namely, why does Word
(on a one-page document) more often that not puts the end
of the document on a second page?? I have had this problem
with 3/4 length pages and also some templates like
business cards. Please help!!

Press Ctrl+* and you'll see the reason (at least one empty paragraph on page
2). If it happens with business cards, it may well be that you've monkeyed
with the header/footer in Normal.dot, which will affect the layout of
labels.
