I am typing a Resume. With a Print Preview everything looks OK but when I
print the doc 3 lines show up and I cannot figure out where they come from. I
have tried changing the formatting and that causes them to appear in
different places???

Since most of Word's résumé templates use tables for layout, it may be that
some of the cells have acquired borders. Select the cells above/below where
the lines are printing and choose No Border in Format | Borders and Shading.
