How can I stop Word from formatting the whole document when I only want to
change the format of one line.  For instance, when I click on a line and then
on paragraph numbering it will add numbers to all the other lines as well.  I
can get around this by hitting Undo but this is really frustrating.

Thanks very much, Lene

This looks like the answer but I'll have to check it on my work PC, which is
where this problem really occurred.

If I'm not back here by Tuesday 5th Feb then you'll know it's fixed!

Thanks once again!
