When I open a word 07 document on my computer it changes the formatting. A 1
page document becomes 2 but the font type and size are the same. Why does it
appear on 2 pages for me? I have tried changing to Version 2003 but it doesnt
help. My IT people cant figure it out either. Please help.

Hi Simon,

Document formatting in Word is influenced by the printer drivers. That's partly because different printers have different
capabilities and partly due to the way different printer manufacturers code their drivers to interpret the print jobs. If you're
using a different printer, it most likely also uses a different printer driver. Even the same printer might use a different version
of the driver under a different OS or driver update.

Cheers
