How do I remove the two intersecting lines in all four corners of the
page? I have no idea how this setting was enabled. I've checked the
Microsoft support page (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371) for
this topic, and it doesn't help, because I don't actually have
'Language Settings' in the Microsoft Office Tools tab of the Program
Menu.

Thanks in advance,

S&C

Are you looking in the right place? The Language Settings Tool shortcut is
installed by default when you install Office to run on first use. I suppose
you could re-run Office Setup and check the item to run from the computer
and to restore shortcuts.
