Hi, am working with a long document, and have some appendices in landscape
page setup (while all other pages are in a portrait page setup). How can I
have two different page setups in one document?

They must be separated by a Next Page Section Break.  Then you can apply the
desired set up to each individual section.

Select the text/pages you want in landscape, go to File ---> Page Setup,
Choose Landscape, and then in the Apply To dropdown box choose "Selected
Text". That will create section breaks and apply Landscape settings to just
the selected pages.
