I would like to create two styles for numbered lists, both with custom
indents, etc., different from Word's defaults.  Style1 would begin a list
with "1".  Style2 would continue the list with 2, 3, etc.  It seems to be
impossible in Word 2007.  And even taking a list style and changing the
"start with" setting directly changes the paragraph formatting.  This should
be simple, but it's not.

A numbered list should begin with 1 and increment from there. If you really
need different styles for the first and subsequent items, there may be
another way to accomplish this. What are you trying to do?
