I am having trouble developing a label that will fit our
pre-printed labels.  I know how to make a custom label so
that the size is proper, but....there is an area on the
top that is pre-printed and I don't want the address to
interfer with that.  If I set the typing to start at the
bottom - it looks strange.  I know that many companies
have pre-printed colorful labels so someone must have
been confronted with this problem before.  How can I
properly restrict that area so that nothing is entered
there.  It would actaully be nice it is could put a
representation of the actual pre-print info there
instead.  Can anyone help?

Well, you could create a drawing object that duplicates the graphic on your labels,
but then when it comes time to print, you'll have to turn off the printing of drawing
objects, otherwise the picture will print over the pre-printed picture on your labels.
That seems like an awful lot of work. The easiest way would be to use an empty
drawing object that's the same size as the graphic on your lables. Setting the
object's properties will allow you to specify the way text wraps around the graphic.
HTH!

Add enough Space Before to the address to make it clear the preprinted
portion. Or you could use two table cells for each label, the top one left
empty to serve as a placeholder for the return address.
