Hi,

Not sure if this is the right NG.

How can I do the followings (In Word or using code):
1. Declare a bullet point
2. Using Insert->File option, insert a file (text format)
The inserted file must retain the format (bullets).

regards

Hi Az,

The numbering newsgroup would be most appropriate,
however...

It ain't gonna happen. Unless

1. The bullet numbering is assigned to a paragraph style
2. And the document you're inserting contains the same
paragraph style, and is all formatted using that style.

The document being inserted will adopt the
style definitions of the target document.
