I have a folks in different offices with the same problem.
using win 2000 and any version of word, printing to an HP
4000 or 4050 printer. if they open a document the bottom
margin is set to 2.?? inches "I forget exactly the
measurement is" this cuts off the bottom of the document.
It doesn't always happen. But here's her kicker. "2 part"

1. If they default to a different printer IE hp color
laserjet 4550 this doesn't happen.

2. If they are running win 9x then this doesn't happen.

I've updated the print drivers to the latest.

the printers are shared from a win 2000 server. Not VIA
active Directory.
