Doug, thanks for your feedback
My problem has nothing to do with my printer type/settings. Whatever border I choose, the lower part of the border does not even show on the Print Preview. It shows on Layout View only.
What is baffling me here is that when I first installed MS Word 2000 everything was fine and borders showed on Print Preview. By the way, when Print Preview is reduced to 25% part of the lower border shows
What is my problem here ?

Print Layout view shows you the page as you have designed it. Print Preview
shows you what will actually print with the printer you have currently
selected. If this is an inkjet printer, then page borders set "From edge of
page" will almost certainly not print at the bottom, which is what the
article Doug and Jay referred you to addresses.
