How can I print or set-up a Word document double sided?  Thank you in advance.

To do this automatically, you must have a printer that supports duplex
printing. If you have such a printer, there will be a setting in the printer
Properties to enable this type of printing. If you don't have a duplex
printer, then some versions of Word have a "Manual duplex" setting in the
Print dialog that you can use. Otherwise, you will have to print first the
odd pages and then the even pages (reversing the print order).

Hi, Denise,

If your printer can print double-sided (usually called "duplex"
printing) unassisted, there will be an option for it somewhere in the
printer's preferences dialog that you get by clicking the Properties
button in the Print dialog.

If the printer doesn't have that capability -- and most inkjets don't
-- then it depends on what version of Word you have. Word 2002 and
2003 have a checkbox in the Print dialog marked "Manual duplex". This
causes Word to print the pages on one side of the sheets, and then
prompt you to turn the stack over and put it back in the printer for
the other side.

Earlier versions of Word don't have any special assistance for
duplexing. You have to manage it yourself, including setting the
option for printing one of the sides in reverse order if necessary.

If you're talking about printing a folded booklet, see this article:
