I have a word document that is 41 pages long, yet somehow I have an extra 4 pages with numbers I can not get rid of.
Where did they come from?
Press Ctrl+End to go to the end of the document, then backspace till you get
back to the end of the text. If you display nonprinting characters (Ctrl+*),
most likely you'll see four pages' worth of empty paragraphs, page breaks,
etc.
