Ok, apparently the "Normal" style had been messed with
and the style for following paragraph had been set
to "List Continue" which of course had the indent. I
modified it so Normal would be the followign paragraph
style and the problem went away. Now I'm trying to
figure out how to get rid of the List Continue style that
reappears in my style box with every new document.

Ok, the templates and add-ins item in options has got an
organizer button that lets you change the style gallery.
In there I was able to resolve all the questions. Thanks
