My toolbars are gone in Word.  I have the document name at the top of the page and that is it.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program.  I've tried running from disc.  No toolbars.  Excel, Access, Publisher, not affected.

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm. And note that
reinstalling rarely solves problems because it does not overwrite Normal.dot
or the Registry or delete add-ins from the Word/Office Startup folder, and
these are the sources of most problems.
