hiding footnotes/endnotes

Hi, does anyone know an easy method to hide footnotes/endnotes?  I don't want to see them...but don't want to delete them.

You could format the Footnote/Endnote Text and Footnote/Endnote Reference
styles as Hidden. If you just don't want to see them while you're working,
have you considered working in Normal view?
