Page brake

When inserting a mannual page brake the line appears on
the page but when I tab doun to the second page it still
says your on the first page any ideas....?

Word is sometimes slow to update the pagination, though I generally find the
page numbering updates faster than the page break line appears in the case
of soft page breaks.
