I am working with a document that I did not create.

When this document prints, a footer appears that is not
visible in Normal View, but is visible in Print Preview.

The View\Header and Footer item is grayed out, so I can't
go there.

Is it possible this is a template document? If so, how do
I change the footer and save it as a regular document?

Thank you!

If View | Header and Footer is disabled, most likely the document is
protected. Try Tools | Unprotect Document.
