I have 4 Access reports that I need to link into a Word
document.  I ran each report and published it to a Word
document.  I then used Insert, Object, Create from file
and chose the Link to File check box.

Problem #1:
The first file I linked only shows the last line of the
file.  The only way I can get it to show all of the text,
is to insert a page break at the beginning of the line
directly after the inserted file and then move the
inserted file "box" down towards the bottom of the page.

Problem #2:
The last file I need to link in has, at this time, 11
pages.  This will change from month to month.  Currently
is only shows the first page.

How can I have the linked files show all the text and
insert them so that any text below flows immediately
afterward w/o inserting a page break?

Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!

Hi Deanna,

Use an { INCLUDETEXT "Drive:\\Path\\Filename" } field.

I copied your text below and inserted my path:
{INCLUDETEXT "C:\\temp\\Key Results from Past
Quarter.rtf" }
but it only shows this text when printed and doesn't print
the document.  How do I get the document to print?
I did save the document before printing.

Did you create a field or just type the text? You can't create the field
delimiters (the things that look like braces but aren't) by typing from the
keyboard; you have to enter them with Ctrl+F9.

Thank you for your help.  I had copied the text from this
newsgroup and pasted it into my document.  It took me a
few minutes to figure out that you had to tell it to
Update Field, but I found it and it appears to be working
great!
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
