HELP!!!

I need to create a template which include headers and
footers that have different margins then the actual body
of the document. I thought I had this figured out until
someone actually copied and paste data then the margin
settings didn't stick?

Any suggestions?

Office XP.

These are paragraph indents, not margins. They should be set in the header
and footer styles. Note that when you do this, if you use tabs, you'll need
to reset your center and right tabs, as well.

Either I am misunderstanding what you are stating or it's
not working correctly.

I formatted my header style and changed the paragraph
indenting to the necessary settings. It does not help
when I copy and paste text.

I was testing and I did insert text boxes from the header
along the left and right margins and that seemed to have
helped this problem...but I am not sure what I will run
into in the future.

So any suggestions will be helpful.

Thanks

Text boxes don't use the header or footer style unless you apply it.

Pasted text with paragraph marks will also change the style.
