This still doesn't sufficiently describe what you want/need to do. So we can't give you any detailed instructions... FWIW, Word does NOT work like Word Perfect. You canNOT simply say "no footer" here and then "start the footer again". Word does not do that. In Word, headers and footers are assigned to SECTIONS. Each section may have a different first page header/footer. In additions, headers and footers in adjacent may be linked, so that they automatically look the same.
