Hi Group,

I'm new to Word 2003 (switching from Word 97), and I don't
see the automatic page break lines appearing in my
documents like they did in 97.  Manual page breaks appear,
how do I make the auto page breaks appear?  Thanks.

Are you in Normal View?

Yes.  It's OK.  The lines were not appearing in an old
multipage document, but they appear OK in a new document
I'm working on.  Thanks.

One reason for not seeing page breaks in Normal view is that background
repagination is disabled (an option available only in Normal view), but this
is always an unlikely explanation since that feature is automatically turned
back on if you switch to Print Layout view and not turned back off if you
switch back to Normal, and it is *not* a per-document setting AFAIK. If the
document is very long, it's possible that the page breaks might take some
time to display (until Word repaginates the document), but otherwise it's a
mystery.
