I've been using Word for over 3 years on my laptop and
today mysteriously these gray corner markers are on every
document that I open (both blank documents and past saved
documents that never had corner markers.)  How do I get
rid of the markers? (they even show when I click Print
Preview)

Thanks!  Please help!

Bill,

START>All Programs>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft Office
(Your Version) Langauge Settings and disable any East
Asian languages.

Greg you rock!  I also found the same answer using
the "search" feature on this newsgroup.  Seems somebody
else had the same issue last month.  I don't know how you
knew about this obscurity but thanks.
