Hi,

I don't want I'm doing wrong. I have one page with a picture = object and
text around to the right. That's perfect.

Now I want to place a second picture on the left side bellow the picture and
text, but I cannot. What happens is one of these:

- the second picture comes to the top of the page and pushes the text down
- the picture comes on the next page

This is one page in a document of 150 pages that will be formatted a couples
of time, so I don't want to use columns just for this page.

Thanks for all help
Best regards
Georg

After you insert the second picture and it appears at the top of the
page, select the picture, and click on Format | Picture | Layout.  If
wrapping is set to Inline With Text, change it to Square or Tight.  Then
drag the picture to the position on the page where you want it.

I'm glad you got it to work.  You helped a lot by giving a good
description of the problem, and I've been using Word for a long time.
