Word Watermarks

I'm trying to print a document with a watermark on it reading "DRAFT." Typically, this mark shows up however, on 7 of my 10 individual documents the wartermarks only make a partial word. Some pages will read, " R A T" or "DR F " etc. I have downloaded updates and tried numerous other techniques to get the whole watermark to print, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Go to the Format menu
click Background
click Watermark
look toward the bottom of the pop-up window and UN-Check the "Semi-Transparent" Check box

I think that might be it.
