Removing Getting Started

Trying to set default start-up view so the "getting
started" screen does not show eveytime Word is started.  

Microsoft solution (Microsoft Knowledge Base Article -
816949) does not work on "some" of our computers, it is
hit and miss.

Anyone know the secret???

Get the Task Pane Controller from
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ShowTaskPane.htm.
