Removing Page Border

Can someone tell me how to remove a page border?  When I print my document or look at it in Print Preview there is a blue border around the entire page.  I tried selecting Format > Borders and Shading > Borders (tab) "NONE" and Page (tab) "NONE."  That still did not work.  Is there another way to remove this border?

Thank you

This suggests that it may have been inserted as a "watermark." You don't say
what version of Word you have, but in any version the easiest way to check
(and to get rid of it if that is the answer) is to View | Header and Footer,
click on the border, and press Delete. If the border is, as I suspect, a
graphic anchored to the header, this will remove it.

Thanks for your response.  Further investigation shows that the border only prints when I select print 2, 4, etc pages to one sheet/page.  In printing a single page on a single sheet it does not show up.  I am using Word 2002.  I tried the suggestion below (selecting header/footer) but the border does not show up in that view.

Ah, that's a different issue. This one has been reported before, but I'm
afraid a solution was not found. I really can't imagine what is going on
here.

When I look at my word document in Print Layout, I see
small water marks in each corner of my document, shaped
as an L.  Anyone know how to remove this?

Do they print?  If not, they are probably showing the "text boundaries",
which is an option you can toggle in Tools>Options>View tab.

They're caused by enabling an Asian language. Go to Start | Programs |
Microsoft Office Tools | Microsoft Office <version> Language Settings (or
some similar path) and disable support for Asian languages.

Can you go to File| Page Setup| Layout tab and then click on borders an
Page Border tab?

Alternatively, look for a graphic element inserted into the header o
footer of your section.  This is a popular method of adding a pag
border as well.  You can only get to it when you are editing th
headers and footers.

Answers based on Word 2002 BTW
