I want to create a template for a postcard that a printer
will print double sided.

The first 'side' will just have a picture inserted.

The second side needs to be split so the left hand side
can contain the text message and the right hand side the
address and a space for postage.

I've tried but cant seem to create a template with two
different page layouts in the same document.

Any suggestions, or better yet send me an example. I'm not
proud!  Thanks.

You can use either two newspaper columns or a two-column table to split the
second side.
