How do I put a customized footer into a Word document?
For example,
"Training Doc      08/07/03       A-2"
"Training Doc      08/07/03       A-3"
"Training Doc      08/07/03       B-4"
"Training Doc      08/07/03       B-5"
"Training Doc      08/07/03       C-2"

I would like to have the page numer A-2, A-3, B-4, etc. to
appear in the table of contents.  It will put the page
number in the table of contents, but I can't get the
alphabet to display as one page number.  How can I get
this to format in this form.

Thanks,

For this to appear in the TOC, it must be included in the page number using
the "Include chapter number" feature. For more on how to use that, see
