What exactly are you trying to accomplish, Mike? Advance fields were
included in Word almost exclusively for compatibility with WordPerfect and
are rarely of much use in native Word.

Supposedly with Advance, the second line of text can be made to overlap
the first. Now THAT'S positioning!
I down't know if I'd ever need it, but I do find it interesting. When I
was a WP user, I used it a lot.

If you want to superimpose two lines of text, it would probably be a better
use of your time to put one of them in a text box in front of the other.
