Converting MS Word Doc to pdf

I use MS Word 2000 on a Windows XP Professional
platform.  In converting my Word doc to pdf (Adobe
Acrobat version 5.0)the pdf file show a loss of text in
some parts of the document.  Has this happened to anyone.

If you used the PDFMaker, try using Distiller instead. And vice versa. Some
documents work better with one or other.
