While Print Layout view may not be entirely WYSIWYG (especially if you have
nonprinting characters displayed), I would be seriously concerned about a
situation where Print Preview did not accurately represent what will print.
I'd start by deleting the printer driver and reinstalling it. (Note,
however, that if you have indented text next to a text box or frame, it may
print as you intend it to even though it is not correctly represented in any
view.)

The reason your document may be printing differently is
because your printer is substituting a different font for
the font you have used in your document -- which would be
one of the reasons for different text wrapping / word
spaces.
