MS Office Forum / Word / Page Layout / August 2004Footer does not appear
When I click on the Header and Footer, Header appears but the Footer does not appear. Anyone can let me know why. Are you talking about View | Header and Footer? This puts you in the Header pane. To get to the Footer, you have to click on the Switch Between Header and Footer button on the Header and Footer toolbar. Once there is text in the header or footer, you can open either pane by double-clicking on the header/footer in Print Layout view.  SignatureSuzanne S.
