How can you set up Word so that the footer automatically
updates when you rename your document?  I have the footer
set up to show the filename & path, but when I "Save As"
and name the file something different, the old file name
still shows in the footer, even after closing and
reopening the renamed file.  However, if I print it, it
changes the footer to the correct name before printing.  I
can also select the footer and hit "F9" or "update field"
to have the correct name shown.  I want to set up Word to
automatically update the footer when I rename the file.

I think Word is actually updating the footer; you just don't see it until
you print or hit F9.
