MS Office Forum / Word / Page Layout / August 2004Remove Margins Boarder
How do I remove horizontal and vertical lines that boarder my margins? I have no idea how they started appearing, but whenever I open a document (new or existing file) the lines appear. The corners of the boarder look like crosshairs. How do I remove these lines so that I don't see them? Thanks! If you're really getting lines around the margins, disable "Text boundaries" on the View tab of Tools | Options. If you're just getting the "crop marks," go to Start | Programs | Microsoft Office Tools | Microsoft Office [version] Language Settings and disable support for Asian languages.  SignatureSuzanne S.
