Greetings,

Whenever I start a new document, I now have by default 2
columns instead of seeing the normal page layout. I can
not undo this this default and can not see an option
anywhere of "undo-ing" this default. I have checked my
styles and they seem to be normal. I have un-installed the
software and re-installed it and it still defaults to two
columns. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rob,

Format>Columns, set to a single column.  You'll need to open Normal.dot and
make this change.  See
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErrors/BlankDocNotBlank.htm.

Regards,
Chad
