I used gridlines in a WORD document and when I clicked on Hide Gridlines, there is no response. Now I have gridlines in every WORD document (new and old) and every .pub, as well. Hi Linnea, There are gridlines, and then there are gridlines... Table gridlines can be hidden using "Table > Hide gridlines". But for document gridlines, you need the "drawing toolbar > Draw menu > Grid...", and unckeck "Display gridlines on screen". Regards, Klaus
