Hi,

In a section of my word document, I would like to restart
the numbering (1 to...) of my captions (Figures), the
problem is that it keeps numbering by taking into account
the previous captions? Is it possible to do this without
creating a new label?

Caption numbering is maintained by SEQ fields. There is the
\r switch that will let you restart numbering (look up SEQ
field in Word's help, just to double-check my memory and see
some examples).

Alt+F9 toggles field codes on/off so that you can add the
switch where you want to reset the numbering.
