Cannot print text in text box

Cannot print or print preview text contained in a text box in a Word 97 doc.
The document is protected as there are many users using this doc as a
template. All users of the doc are running Word 97 and printing to the same
printer with the same printer driver. Only one user cannot view the text.
Can only view text in print layout, not in normal or web layout.

On the View tab of Tools | Options, check the box for "Drawings." On the
Print tab, check "Drawing objects."
