I have created a template and I want the border width to
default to 3/4pt instead of 1/2pt (under Format/Borders
and Shading/Borders. Is there a way to do this so that my
users do not have to think about what the standard is and
just apply it. Thx

If it is a table, set the border style to Grid. This defaults to 3/4 pt (at
least until you change the outside borders of the table!). When you change
this, it doesn't show until you go back into the dialog box.
