Form Text Fields

When I insert a form Text field into a document it is by
default gray. Is there a way I can change the backgroud
color of these fields? I would like mine to be white so
you can't tell there is a form field there.

In Tools > Options > View, set the Field Shading option to either "Never" or
"When selected".
