I started my document with 2 columns, but I want to switch to one column
towards the end of the second page.  Everytime I try to do that, the whole
document reverts to a single column and I lose my previous formatting.  Is
there a way to switch column settings go from 2 to 1 columns all in the same
document and preserve formatting?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Insert-Break-Continuous. Then, with nothing selected, hit Format-Columns and
change to one column.
**** Hope it helps! ****
