About a year ago, I greated a file using word art and
printed it.  Everytime I open a new file there is the
word art that I used.  I cannot figure out how to get rid
of this Word Art file.  It is not really difficult to
delete the word art before beginning my new document,
just aggravating.  Perhaps someone could point me in a
direction to solve this aggravation.

Brooks,

Sounds like you saved the word-art as part of your
Normal.dot.

Locate and open the file Normal.dot and see if you see
your word-art aggravation there. If it is, delete and save
as Normal.dot.

Not 'save as' - just 'save'.
