Ok, Here's the deal. For the last few weeks whenever I
open up a new doc or even an old one, these "odd little
half-square things" have appeared in the corners of the
each and every document. I can't click on them or
interact with them in any way. I you want to know what
I'm talking about simply go to Format, Borders and
Shading... now look on the right side and find the
preview diagram. On the diagram there are little half-
squares in the corner that represent the margin borders.
These are appearing on all docs I open in the Print
Layout view. Its annoying, so any help would be
appreciated. Thanks.

These so-called "crop marks" result from having support for an Asian
language installed. This sometimes happens when you open a document or email
sent from a computer with such support. Go to Start | Programs | Microsoft
Office Tools | Microsoft Office <version> Language Settings and disable all
but the language you're using (presumably English (United States)).
