unknown markers on page

how do I get rid of the four marks around the page when I view in print
layout. The marks are ┘└ at the top of the page and ┐ ┌ at the botom of the
page.
please can someone help me remove thes annoying marks!

These "crop marks" are usually the result of an East Asian language enabled
in your Word application.

Go to Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office>Microsoft Office Tools>Microsoft
Office (Your version) Language settings and disable any enabled East Asian
languages.
