For a colleague using Word 2000 I need to make a template. I have XP. Are
there any problems I should be aware of? She needs customized bullets

Even though it is bullets and not numbering, I would follow the directions
at:
How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in your Word document
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html.

This is based on ...

Word's Numbering Explained
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/WordsNumberingExplained.htm

That is because bullets are a part of the list numbering even though there
are no numbers.

Otherwise, your templates should work fine. I strongly urge you to read How
To Create A Template, Part 2 on the MVP website.
