Does anyone know a way to embed escape sequences, in this case to control a
printer, into a word document. If so please advise.
Thanks

Use PRINT fields. You're more likely to get a more detailed answer in
microsoft.public.word.printingfonts.

Hi Jeff,
The technique used in this article should work although
it can depend on how the print stream is sent to your
printer (i.e. if the document is seen as an 'image'
by your printer then the 'code' won't be recognized)
